97hz

97Hz is a performance born from — and synthesizing — a research project on the expressive implications between sound, video, dance, cinema, sculpture, and theatre. A crucible of grammars and signs where boundaries are porous and symbiotic.

The central theme is “darkness,” around which the experimentation unfolds in its poetic, introspective, and philosophical ramifications.

A single performer on stage, decontextualized from his own body and reinvented through his possible lives, becomes a living installation immersed in a dark, resonant fluid. Time and the human being turn into variables; the concept of limit dissolves, opening up to the senses, to crisis, to resistance, to the desire for escape, to exploration.

We are faced with a suspension — an inner pause that evokes calm and contact with one of the possible truths. A journey that moves away from the personal microcosm, only to return with renewed awareness and fullness.

And the question arises again: are we beings or images, shadow or light, body or spirit, singular or plural?
