Code#9 performance by Alessandro Olla, Ivana Balabanova
is a performance immersed in a dreamlike sound environment where a body floats on the border between light and dark. A minimalist and meditative experience that explores fear and the unknown, intimacy and passion.
Darkness offers the possibility of infinity, of the transcendental, light carves fragments of the body, thoughts and breaths.
Code # 9 is a code to be interpreted in order to expand a new state of consciousness.
The performance was developed by Ivana Balabanova and Alessandro Olla through two artistic residences in Barcelona (2021) and Skopje (2022). Produced by Beatrix Cultural Center, CSS Centar Jadro and supported by the Ministry of Culture of North Macedonia.
